Local media attention on the ECMI Moldova activities
ECMI‘s Eastern Partnership Programme begins to attract attention in Moldova’s media – including in the breakaway republic of Transnistria.
Yesterday, Transdnestrinform reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the breakaway republic of Transnistria on 23 July met a delegation from the European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI).
It is ECMI’s recently started European Partnership Programme that begins to awaken the interest Moldova’s media – including the breakaway republic of Transnistria.
Transdnestrinform further explains that Senior Research Associate Dr Alexander Osipov and Project Research Associate Hanna Vasilevich visited Transnistria’s deputy foreign minister, Igor Schornikov. The parties discussed, according Transdnestrinform, the possibilities for cooperation within the framework of ECMI’s European Partnership Programme.
Also the points of Dr Federica Prina, which were released in ECMI Issue Brief # 33, have found a local audience. The points are reiterated on Platzforma.md
