Renate Schnack is a new member of ECMI’s executive board. This is one of the consequences of the formation of a new government in Schleswig-Holstein.
Following the May elections in Schleswig-Holstein and the succeeding formation of a new SPD-led coalition government, Renate Schnack was on 25 June officially inaugurated as new Minority Commissioner of Schleswig-Holstein’s Prime Minister.
Renate Schnack is then going to succeed Caroline Schwartz as the Schleswig-Holstein government’s representative in the ECMI executive board.
Schleswig-Holstein, Denmark and Germany (Federation) are the three founders of the European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI). They are ex-officio members of the ECMI executive board.
