Is diversity a historical feature of European societies and an asset contributing to their enrichment and development? Is it a negative factor and a threat to economic and political stability, to culture, and to societal cohesion? These will be core questions to be discussed in Brussels at the NMBR summer school. Organized in cooperation with the Coppieters Foundation, the summer school will take place between 2 and 9 September and will gather junior academics and practitioners passionate for diversity and minority rights.
The ECMI and Coppieters Foundation teams will be joined by international experts and EU politicians based in Brussels. We are pleased to share that some of our distinuished speakers will include Kinga Gal, (MP European Parliament, Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) and Jordi Sole (MP European Parliament, Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance).
Combining traditional and non-formal education methods, interactive sessions, and networking activities, the interdisciplinary training will foster critical thinking, multi-level exchange of knowledge and experience, and the establishment of a network of young activists and professionals.
