Georgia plan issued on implementing tolerance and integration in 2012

Action, research and documentation (ECMI Synergy Wheel stories)The Government of Georgia has published the Action Plan 2012 for the implementation of the State National Concept for Tolerance and Civic Integration.

The Action Plan has been drafted and compiled every year since 2009. The work is accomplished as a joint effort of the State Inter-Agency Commission and the staff of the Office of the State Minister for Reintegration.

The plan is available for the public, even though it is not online yet.

ECMI Caucasus’ role

The plan is published with the support of ECMI Caucasus as part of the Council of Europe-ECMI Denmark’s Georgia Programme 2010-13.

This Programme includes facilitation of the State Inter-Agency Commission’s activities when they relate to implementation of Minority Governance Polices on state level. One component of the Programme aims at strengthening the state capacity on national minorities.
