In early 2010, EURAC and ECMI formed a Russia study group. In the beginning of August 2012, the group’s work resulted in the edition Managing Ethnic Diversity in Russia. Edited by Oleh Protsyk and Benedikt Harzl, it is published by Routledge.
On 9 August Routledge added another publication to its Routledge Contemporary Russian and Eastern European Series.
Managing Ethnic Diversity in Russia “…provides a comprehensive overview of the norms and practices of ethnic diversity management in the Russian Federation in the last twenty years,” writes Routledge.

Today, Oleh Protsyk is lecturer at the University of Flensburg, Germany, European Studies Program, and Benedict Harzl is a researcher at the Russian East European Eurasian Studies Centre at the University of Graz.
